Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Amma Veetu Virunthu. By using our service or subscribing to our meal plans, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

2. Subscription Service

We provide home-cooked meal subscription services including Saapadu (Breakfast & Lunch), Arogiya Petti (Healthy South Indian), and Chappathi dinner plans.

3. Delivery Policy

  • Free delivery is provided within a 3km radius of our kitchen in Thoraipakkam.
  • For locations beyond 3km, additional delivery charges will apply and will be communicated at the time of subscription.
  • Delivery timings are approximate and may be affected by traffic or weather conditions.

4. Packaging & Tiffin Boxes

  • Customers can choose to purchase a stainless steel tiffin box for a one-time charge of ₹360 (per set).
  • If using your own containers, they must be cleaned and handed over to our delivery partner daily at the time of delivery.
  • Disposable parcel bags are available at an additional charge as specified in each plan.

5. Cancellation & Pausing

Subscriptions can be temporarily paused with a 24-hour advance notice via WhatsApp. Refunds for missed meals will be adjusted against future subscriptions or as per mutual agreement.

6. Payments

All subscriptions are prepaid. Payment must be made at the beginning of the subscription cycle via UPI or other accepted methods.

At Amma Veetu Virunthu, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information.

1. Information Collection

We collect basic information such as your name, phone number, and delivery address when you subscribe via WhatsApp or contact us. We also collect subscription preferences (dietary choice, duration, etc.).

2. Use of Information

The information collected is used solely for:

  • Fulfilling your meal delivery orders.
  • Communicating with you regarding your subscription.
  • Improving our daily menu and service quality.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties. Your delivery details are only shared with our internal delivery partners to ensure your meal reaches you.

4. Data Security

We implement basic security measures to protect your information. As most interactions happen on WhatsApp, your messages are protected by WhatsApp's end-to-end encryption.
